Have peanuts thoroughly warmed in oven, sprinkle with salt, and add to the melted sugar. Pour into buttered pan. When cooled cut into squares. Other nut meats may be used instead of peanuts. TURKISH NOUGATINE MATERIALS 1package gelatine 1cup mixed chopped nuts 3cups granulated sugar Vanilla flavor 1cup cold water PREPARATION Dissolve gelatine in cold water. Heat slowly on your gas range. A dd sugar and beat to white cream.
